Following a week’s worth of thrilling and invigorating workshops and panels, Field Hockey Canada is proud to say that its first-ever 2020 Digital Conference was a complete success! On behalf of the conference and administrative staff, we would like to thank every single workshop leader, speaker and conference attendee for making this possible and allowing our vision to come to life.
With six sessions in tow, the conference saw 138 participants — including 38 athletes, 30 coaches, 15 managers and 31 volunteers — from 14 countries over the course of four days.
As we work toward growing the sport across the country, Field Hockey Canada is committed to continuing the conversations around championship coaching, racism, mental wellness, life post-hockey, gender equity, grassroots growth and more. We hope to build off the event’s momentum and establish our community as a team of teams.
Sessions will be made available before the new year for any registrants who missed out or who would like to relive the conference. In the meantime, key takeaways from each workshop and panel can be found on our social media.
We thank everybody again and look forward to welcoming you at our next event!
