Field Hockey Canada is pleased to announce Ann Doggett as the newest member of the Board of Directors. She has been involved in the field hockey community since 1974 as an athlete, coach and leader. Ann first became involved with FHC as a member of the Long Term Athlete Development Committee and Coach Education Committee. For 5 years, Ann served as the Field Hockey Ontario President ending November 2011.
“We are extremely pleased to have Ann join the Board,” says Mary Cicinelli, FHC President. “She brings a breadth of experience and expertise in specific areas that are essential for our development and success – particularly in the areas of athlete, coach and club development.”
She is currently a Master Learning Facilitator for Community Coach and Introduction to Competition, and a Learning Facilitator for Fundamental Movement Skills and Intro to Competition Multi-Sport.
“I am very excited to be a part of the FHC Board,” says Ann. “I hope to see an increase in the number of clubs and players over the next five years – and a stronger coaching education program.”
