Canadian men to host National Indoor Camp in September

As it prepares to compete at the 2015 Indoor World Cup in Germany next February, the Canadian Men’s Indoor National Team will be holding an Open Camp from September 5th to 7th, 2014 in Toronto, Ontario.

This is the second phase of preparation for the World Cup, the first being an invitational squad selection camp which was held July 4th to 6th in Toronto.

Other elements of the team’s preparation include:

• Physiological training
• Domestic training and intersquad sessions
• A Four-Nations tournament in October
• Invitational camps in November
• A test series vs HC Dinamo-Elektrosal (Russia First Division) in December
• European Tour (Late 2014/Early 2015)
• 2015 Indoor World Cup

Deadline to send confirmation is August 29th at 5pm EST. Send confirmation in writing to coachmendonca@gmail.com. A cheque payable to Field Hockey Canada-Indoor Program will be collected prior to the first session of camp.
