Canadians Winless On Day 3

May 13, 2010

The Canadian men’s and women’s indoor national squads fell short to Australia Wednesday evening in their third exhibition matches of the Series held at Ryerson University.

The men’s game saw the Aussies take an early 2 – 0 lead and never look back winning the game 7 – 3. Adam Ali, Micah Teixeira, and Devohn Teixeira were the goal scorers for team Canada.

The women’s game saw Jessica Buttinger, Kri Shier, and Amanda Woddcroft score for team Canada but it was not enough as the Aussies managed to win the match by a score of 5 – 3.

The men’s and women’s teams will be back in action again on Thursday evening at Ryerson.  The men will play their final exhibition game while the women play their first of three official Test Matches.  Both teams will then play Test Matches at the University of Toronto on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission to all Ryerson games is free while test matches at U of T will be $5 for the entire day.
