Commonwealth send-off event a success

The send-off celebration for the men’s and women’s Commonwealth Games field hockey teams took place last Friday evening and was a terrific success.  Field Hockey Canada would like to thank everyone who came out to support the athletes who will be departing for Delhi, India at the end of the week.

A special thank you to Jane Kozniuk, Diane Gillis, and their dedicated group of volunteers for their organization of the event.

Another thank you to the Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver for donating the event banquet hall.
