FHC Leadership busy in Guadalajara

October 25, 2011 | Field Hockey Canada |

Our National Teams, Coaches and Team Staff are not the only representatives of FHC at the Pan American Games.  Mary Cicinelli (President), Sharon Creelman (Technical Director), and Alan Brahmst (Director, High Performance Strategy & National Teams) are also in Guadalajara.

In addition to cheering for Team Canada, they have all been busy meeting with our Pan American colleagues planning upcoming competitions and hosting –participating in the Pan American Congress meetings – and supporting the Toronto 2015 Pan American hosting plans.

“We learn an incredible amount during competitions like the Pan Am Games,” says Cicinelli.  “It is extremely helpful for us to connect with individuals face to face.”

“The Pan American Games have provided opportunities to meet with a number of key people in the Pan American Hockey Federation – people that can work on future projects with our National Teams,” says Creelman.
