FHC partners with InterContinental Hotels Group

OTTAWA – Field Hockey Canada (FHC) has partnered with the world’s largest hotel group to help teams, athletes, and members save on their accommodation expense. 

FHC today announced InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) as the Official Hotel Company of Field Hockey Canada.  The partnership provides FHC members from the club level to the national team with discounted guestroom rates, room rental fees, and many other amenities at participating properties.

IHG Canada operates seven hotel brands – InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, and Candlewood Suites.

“We are very excited to be working with these outstanding hotel properties and to be able to extend the benefits of our partnership to our athletes, coaches, officials, and members right across the country,” says Mary Cicinelli, President of Field Hockey Canada.

Members are able to book their hotel rooms at a discounted rate by accessing the online landing page through the FHC Membership Database .  Bookings for larger groups and tournaments will also soon be available from the same online landing page.
