Field Hockey Canada is excited to announce the launch of a completely new and revamped website – www.fieldhockey.ca.
“I am extremely excited about our new website,” says Mary Cicinelli, President of FHC. “This is one way FHC is working to develop, strengthen and connect field hockey across the country – another key part of Strategy 2020.”
In addition to fresh graphic design, the new site offers completely restructured navigation designed to help users quickly find what they came for. Fans will be pleased to find updated player profiles, more photos, dynamic competition pages, and even an “FHC in the news” page featuring the latest media coverage. The site will continue to grow as new content is generated and updated, so stay tuned.
With the Pan American Games in full swing, the new site will offer extensive coverage of Canada’s matches in Guadalajara – including up-to-date scores, match reports, quotes and photos.
The site was developed in partnership with Altius Software. Altius is headed by Hari Kant, a former member of the Men’s National Team and current member of the FHC Board of Directors.
“We have integrated social networking links and included support for photo galleries and videos,” says Kant. “We will be able to showcase the best of Canadian Field Hockey here.”
