Day 5:

Today we awoke to a mysterious mist engulfing La Quinta Inn. It was an earlier start because of our upcoming practice and luncheon with Team USA,  breakfast at 7:45 (much to Caashia’s dismay…."Get outta ma face!!!!"). After a delicious breakfast of Greek yogurt and hard boiled eggs, we headed to the field. Practice was low key but productive and soon we were starving. With rosy cheeks (some a little bit more tomato coloured) we joined the Americans for lunch in the OTC cafeteria. We quickly acquainted ourselves with the opponent and their MINE game. Anyone who was caught uttering the word would be sentenced to 10 push-ups -no wonder those Americans have such jacked arms…

With taco-filled bellies we headed back to the hotel for a swim and some down time. For most of us this included watching Date Night, probably the most unrealistic movie ever, and eating more food (dinner was from Outback Steakhouse). Tonight we have team meeting and movie night planned. Looking forward to our third game tomorrow!!
