Day 6:

Today we had an earlier game which required waking up at 630 for a team run and breakfast. We then headed to the field for our third match against the Americans. The game started off a bit slow but we managed to pick it up and ended up with a 1-0 lead at halftime due to a goal by Sarah AKA ‘Kegs.’ The second half included two more goals, each by individual efforts from Caashia Karrington and Anna Kozniuk. After an intensive cool down we headed back to the hotel for some much anticipated sushi. For the rest of the day we had free time which included individual meetings with the coaches, resting and refueling. Next came dinner from the Cheescake Factory… YUM! After another team meeting we headed to bed early…getting excited to wake up even earlier for tomorrow’s game.
