Leadership change for Women’s National Program

March 8, 2012 | Field Hockey Canada |

Field Hockey Canada has implemented a change in leadership for the Women’s National Team as the program is moving forward to focus on the 2016 Olympic Games.  As of today, Louis Mendonca concludes his role as Head Coach of the Women’s National Team.  FHC would like to acknowledge the many contributions Louis has made to Field Hockey Canada and the National Team Programs over the past five years – leading the Men’s National Team to the 2008 Olympic Games, followed by three years as the Women’s National Head Coach.

Field Hockey Canada has been implementing a comprehensive performance strategy over the past year to optimize long-term success for Canada’s National Teams.  Details of the transition plans will be announced in the near future.
