Youth Pan American Tournament in Uruguay

Day 1 – Travel

After waking up at 4 am, stopping in Dallas, Miami, and Buenos Aires, we arrived in Montevideo 24 hours later. Let’s just say, only three hours of sleep made us go a little crazy! Once settled in at the hotel, we went for a jog on the beach and walked along the waterfront by our hotel. Afterwards, we ventured into the town for an interesting dinner, where Kyla was served pasta garnished with flies, but she ate it because of its protein content. We came back for a very sleepy team meeting and soon after crashed in our rooms. Although it was a tiring day, it was a great start to our trip and we are so excited to see the field and more of Uruguay tomorrow!
