Born in Canada but raised in the United Kingdom, Oliver Scholfield moved back to Canada for University in 2011.
After taking up the sport in school, he went on to play for English club teams including the Waverley Panthers and WessexLeapords. At university, Scholfield plays for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds.
He made his first junior international appearance in 2012 and then went on to represent Canada at the Junior World Cup. He made his first senior appearance in 2014 and scored his first goal in 2015. Scholfield has become a steady player for the men’s national team over the past five years and was apart of the MNT at the 2019 Olympic Qualifiers when the team punched their ticket to Tokyo 2020.
