Akaiwa City Japan. JET Programme, Sports Exchange Advisor (SEA) position.

In the build up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Field Hockey Canada built a partnership with our pre-event training camp host city: the wonderful Akaiwa. The City and its people looked after our MNT and helped them prepare for battle in Tokyo. Since then, our partnership has grown stronger every year, with our national teams, athletes and coaches all supporting this strong partnership and benefiting from it through annual international games and/or coaching opportunities. SEAs live and work in Japan, and engage with Japanese youths to promote cultural exchange through sport. Japanese language skill is NOT required. All you need is your coaching credentials and your love for the sport!
Each year, FHC and Akaiwa are united through hockey. As we continue to strengthen this partnership, Field Hockey Canada is pleased to share the following opportunity. If you’re interested in an experience in Japan where you will coach hockey and enjoy a fantastic cultural enrichment,  please follow the link and complete the application. Please also reach out to Field Hockey Canada staff to support your application.
