Field Hockey Canada > FHC Women's Masters Team seeks volunteer coach for 2020 World Cup

Field Hockey Canada is seeking a volunteer coach to lead and support the Women’s Masters 60+ program. The position will begin in the spring of 2019 and continue through to the 2020 World Cup. The international location of this event and the exact date will be announced this spring. The position is located in Vancouver, BC where most training takes place. The FHC Masters program is athlete self-funded.

Coach Responsibilities include:

– Team building, team selection, team preparation through scheduled training camps and events
– Fitness training and assessment.
– Applying strategies and instructing athletes
– Coaching at events including the 2020 World Cup

Although this position is a volunteer role, the coach’s travel to the World Cup and accommodation will be covered by the team. Deadline for applications is February 28, 2019. Applications will be forwarded to the Master’s Committee who will manage the selection process.
