Anna Mollenhauer has played field hockey since she was 4 years old. The reason she got started so young? Her mother. A two time field hockey Olympian for Canada, Nancy Mollenhauer ensured her daughter got an early start in the sport that she loved. Since then Anna has adopted this love of the sport and looks to her mom as inspiration.
At a young age Anna has amassed a number of field hockey accomplishments of which she is proud, including winning Cal Cup in 2015, a second place finish in three consecutive National Championships, and being named to the Junior National Program in 2014. However, these accomplishments alone will not satisfy her and continue to motivate her as her ultimate goal is to one day represent Canada at the Olympic Games following in the footsteps of her mom.
Anna made her senior national team debut in 2019 at a test series in Scotland. She then secured her place on Canada’s 18-woman roster at the Hockey Series Finals in Valencia, Spain.
