BalrajPanesar was introduced to the sport of field hockey by his father. Both he has his brother, Sukhpal, are a part of the Canadian Men’s National Program.
In 2014, Balraj made his senior debut in New Zealand. He was also a part of the Junior Men’s National Team that competed in Hockey 5’s at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China. Panesar and his teammates captured the silver medal.
Balraj also played competitive field hockey before focusing solely focus on field hockey. He plays his club hockey for United Brothers.
