Field Hockey Canada launches Road to Tokyo campaign
It has been a long wait for athletes, coaches and event organizers around the world. The Olympics is officially 100 days away and the reality of the approaching Games is starting to set in.
Field Hockey Canada’s Men’s National Team qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Games over 17 months ago. The drama at Rutledge Field feels like a lifetime away and yet the Olympic Games are finally starting to come into sights. Field Hockey Canada is celebrating the 100 Days milestone by launching the Road to Tokyo campaign.
This initiative emanates quick on the heels of the international announcement that foreign spectators will not be allowed to attend the Games in-person. Field Hockey Canada’s goal is to provide the best possible access to the tournament and athletes before, during and after the Tokyo Olympics. The campaign webpage will allow friends, family and fans to join the Red Caribou on the Road to Tokyo.
