About the Team
We are the Canadian Women’s National Field Hockey Team and we invite you to join our Pathway to LA 2028!
As a team of hard working women, we combine work and study commitments with the rigours of international hockey. This is not easy as an amateur sportswoman, but the choices me make reflect out commitment to playing international hockey and the honour of representing Canada. We are proud to represent our country and proud to represent you – our donors – on this intentional sporting journey. As we continue this journey, we are looking for you to support us through your kind donations. We are currently the nation ranking 15th in the World and we have our sights firmly focused on getting into the world’s top 12 and qualifying for LA 2028.
Over the past 3 years, our program has achieved some of its best results ever. In summer 2022, we completed our second successive 5th place finish at the Commonwealth Games (the highest of any Canadian Women’s or Men’s Team), and competed admirably at the 2022 World Cup – which was the first time we had qualified for the World Cup in 28 years! All of this was possible because of your support.

Where you come in
Since our program is largely dependent on funding sources from the government, sponsors and donors, we focus time not only on our training efforts but fundraising to help off-set the costs required to adequately participate and prepare for our competitions. Any amount you are able to contribute moves us one step closer to our goal of competing in the LA 2028 Olympic Games. We are extremely appreciative of any level of donation, and are equally appreciative of your willingness to simply share our campaign with your network. Whether you are able to contribute financially or not – you can still be a part of our journey and join our PACK by helping us get the word out.

PLEASE NOTE: FHC fundraising goes towards the program. FHC nominated athletes and registered participants are on-boarded by FHC to enable FHC to collectively leverage our entire community network to support FHC programs. We use this platform to help raise funds for the program or event, for example, Masters, Junior Men’s National Program, Women’s National Program, Junior World Cup, Senior World Cup etc. In accordance with legislation, all funds raised for the program, stay within the program / event for which they are raised and cannot be transferred to another program or to any individual.
