Olive discovered her love for field hockey when she moved to West Vancouver in Grade 1, where she found both a community and a home away from home. She has played for multiple teams at the West Vancouver Field Hockey Club while also progressing through Field Hockey BC and Field Hockey Canada, which have shaped her journey in the sport.
From a young age, Olive dreamed of playing NCAA Division 1 field hockey—a goal she achieved in 2024 by committing to Wake Forest University. She thrives on competing in high-level tournaments and international tours, cherishing the connections she has made with teammates and opponents worldwide.
