ManvirKingra was introduced to field hockey through his uncle who played the sport in India.

Kingra played his first senior international match in 2011 in Edinburgh versus Scotland and calls the European tour his career highlight to date.

Manvir is left handed and plays every sport left-handed except field hockey, in which it is not permitted.
