Born in Toronto, Cailean grew up in Tsawwassen BC. She began playing field hockey at 6 years old, following in her 2 older sisters footsteps. While her Mom was coaching her two older sisters, Cailean could always be found on the sideline with a stick in hand.

Cailean has been a member of the Women’s Junior Development Squad since 2014. Along with being part of the National program, she is also a member of the UBC Thunderbirds, who won gold at the 2015 CIS National Championships in Victoria, BC. Most recently, Cailean played her club hockey for the Surrey Sharks.

Cailean is currently a student at the University of British Columbia studying environmental sciences with dreams to work in the field someday.
