After spending nine years playing competitive ice hockey, Maddy discovered a new passion when she joined her high school field hockey team. What started as a school sport quickly became a major focus. Last year, she tried out for the Halton Thrashers, where she further developed her skills and understanding of the game. In spring 2025, Maddy was selected for the U16 Team Ontario Red team and helped the team earn a silver medal at the Field Hockey Canada National Championship. She now trains in Canada’s NextGen program and has been selected for the upcoming U18 Wales Youth Tour and 2026 CanAm Indoor Series. Maddy aspires to continue her field hockey career at the university level, while continuing to develop her skills at the highest level possible.
