Field Hockey Canada is thrilled to include the community once again in the 2026 National Championships logo design. This is the second-annual National Championships Logo Contest! The 2026 National Championships are taking place in Surrey and Calgary from July 21-August 9, 2026. The U18 division will play first in Surrey, BC (July 21-26) and the U16 teams will play next in Calgary (August 4-9) The aim of this contest is to involve the community in creating and selecting the annual National Championships logo. See below for rules and submission guidelines.
FINALISTS AND VOTING
The top three logos have been selected by our Field Hockey Canada committee. Field Hockey Canada is excited to release the FINAL THREE logos for Nationals this year in Surrey and Calgary! VOTING IS CLOSED and the winner will be announced shortly.
RULES
- Any member of the Canadian field hockey community can participate in this event.
- Each individual can only submit one logo.
- The logo must incorporate the following elements in some way:
- Field Hockey Canada logo
- Name, dates & location of the event – Please Note: If you can creatively include locations, month and year, that would be acceptable.
- National Championships, U18 Surrey, BC & U16 Calgary, AB, July 21 – August 9, 2026
- The logo should be submitted in a digital format. We will not be accepting hand drawn submissions, rather all submissions must be digitally rendered.
- The logo must be submitted in high resolution (suitable for print) as a PNG or PDF format. If you can submit it as a Vector Editable format (ex. EPS, Illustrator or PSD) that is preferred.
NOTE: With the emergence of Artificial Intelligence design softwares, Field Hockey Canada requires a disclaimer if your submitted logo is AI-rendered. We will accept AI submissions, but please mark down if the design is AI. This will be considered in the selection process with preference given to human-created design and illustration. Thank you for your understanding on this topic.
SELECTION PROCESS
- Field Hockey Canada will have a three-person committee to review all submissions.
- The submissions must meet the above criteria, must be deemed appropriate and must be legible and usable for all types of printing material.
- The top three logos will then be selected by Field Hockey Canada.
PUBLIC VOTING
- The top three logos will be shared via our social media pages and public voting will open to decide the final winner.
SUBMISSION & DEADLINES

Please email your submission to Kevin Underhill at kunderhill@fieldhockey.ca by Friday April 17th by 5pm PST and be sure to include the following information:
- Name of Submitter (First Name, Last Name)
- Field Hockey Club they represent
- City they represent
- Upload a digital copy of their logo
Public voting will take place from April 24-26, 2026 with a winner announced shortly thereafter. Field Hockey Canada reserves the right to shift timelines and prizes as needed to accommodate the contest.
PRIZES
- Third Place: $50 Nationals Merchandise Gift Card.
- Second Place: $75 Nationals Merchandise Gift Card.
- First Place: $150 Nationals Merchandise Gift Card.
