Field Hockey Canada is proud to announce a new multi-year partnership with Capelli Sport, naming the global sports brand the official and exclusive uniform and apparel provider of Canada’s National Teams.
Led by Capelli Sport Canada, based in Windsor, Ontario, the partnership brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to the growth and development of field hockey across Canada. As a Canadian-led operation backed by the resources and reach of a global brand headquartered in New York City, Capelli Sport will support Field Hockey Canada across every level of its national programming.
The agreement will see Capelli Sport outfit Canada’s senior Women’s and Men’s National Teams, junior national teams, masters teams, and indoor and outdoor programs, as well as coaches, officials and staff. Apparel and equipment will include match and competition uniforms, training apparel, team travel and outerwear, bags and accessories.
A defining part of the partnership was the involvement of the athletes themselves. Current national team players participated alongside Field Hockey Canada leadership in the partner selection process, ultimately choosing Capelli Sport as the brand that best aligned with their vision and the future of the program.
“One piece that made this partnership especially meaningful right from the start was the involvement of our athletes in the selection process. The collaborative group chose a partner that understands our community, supports our dreams, and will help our athletes represent Canada with pride for years to come,” said Susan Ahrens, CEO of Field Hockey Canada. “Capelli’s support will benefit athletes, coaches, and staff across all levels of our program, while helping strengthen connections throughout our field hockey community, from Coast to Coast to Coast.”
The partnership also introduces a new shared tagline, Coast2Coast, reflecting a commitment to supporting every region of Canadian field hockey and the athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and fans who make up the community. From the Pacific to the Atlantic, the collaboration aims to strengthen connections across the sport while creating a unified identity for Canada’s national programs.
“We are proud to welcome Field Hockey Canada to the Capelli Sport family. Coast2Coast is our commitment to supporting every region and every level of the game in Canada,” said George Altirs, CEO and Founder of Capelli Sport. “This partnership marks an important step in growing our brand in a new sport and a new market. We see a bright future ahead together.”
Through Capelli Sport’s global distribution and commercial platform, the partnership will also create opportunities to expand access to official Field Hockey Canada apparel, giving supporters more ways to represent and celebrate Canadian field hockey.
The new Capelli Sport uniforms will make their debut with the Men’s National Team in late November at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup. Further details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Together, Field Hockey Canada and Capelli Sport look forward to building a partnership that supports athletes at every level and helps shape the next chapter of field hockey in Canada.
