I am Alistair Weiss a 15 year old goalkeeper from Calgary Alberta, I’ve been playing field hockey since I was four and I’ve always loved it. It all started from watching Olympic replays in a Boston Pizza and has now brought me to the international stage. I’ve competed with Saracens FHC all my career and I couldn’t be happier to be able to represent that amazing club. I currently also play lacrosse for the Elev8 Elite Varsity travel team. I have played in two nationals tournaments (2024,2025) and in both I have received the top goalkeeper award and the tournament 11 award. I have represented Canada once before with the U17 men’s team that went to Malaysia in 2024. And last but not least, I am fortunate enough to be sponsored by the best field hockey brand in the world, Mercian Hockey.
