Attaquant dynamique et puissant, Gabriel Ho-Garcia compte plus de 50 sélections seniors depuis son premier match en 2011 au Défi des Champions. Il a depuis représenté le Canada dans les rangs juniors et seniors.

En 2012, il a aidé le Canada à remporter la médaille d’argent aux Championnats panaméricains juniors, puis il a fait partie du groupe qui a participé à la Coupe du Monde junior de la FIH en 2013. Il a fait ses premiers pas dans de grands jeux en 2014 aux Jeux du Commonwealth.

Toujours en 2014, il a été nommé meilleur joueur junior du tournoi après que le Canada ait pris le deuxième rang du Défi des Champions 2014 en Malaisie.

Ho-Garcia a aussi participé à la Ligue mondiale de la FIH et aux Jeux panaméricains en 2015 ou le Canada a obtenu sa qualification pour les Jeux olympiques de 2016.

A high-energy, powerful forward, Gabriel Ho-Garcia made his debut in 2011 at the Champions Challenge. He has since played for both the junior and senior national teams. In 2012 he helped Canada win silver at the junior Pan American Championship and then was part of the squad that competed at the 2013 FIH Junior World Cup. He made his international multi-sport competition debut at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Also in 2014, he was named the best junior player of the tournament after Canada’s second place finish at the 2014 Champions Challenge 1 in Malaysia.

Ho-Garcia also competed in the FIH World League in 2015 and 2015 Pan Am Games through which the Canadians were able to earn 2016 Olympic qualification, and competed in his first Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil in 2016. He helped Team Canada qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games at the 2019 Olympic Qualifier on home soil.
