Gursukhmani Basra

Being surrounded by the passion that her older sisters and dad have for field hockey, Gursukhmani also fell for the love of the sport. Gursukhmani has grown as an athlete at Panthers Field Hockey Club. Playing as a centre midfielder for their Division 2 women’s league team, she assisted with their finish as first in the division. Gursukhmani was also selected for the U18 BC Blue team, and won gold with her team at Nationals. Now, as a member of NextGen, she will represent Canada internationally as a member of the U18 team at Wales. She aspires to represent Canada at the highest stage, and promote the passion for the sport.
