Imke Arndt’s love for field hockey began at a young age in South Africa, where she spent her early years before moving to Oakville, Ontario, at the age of 11. Since then, she has passionately pursued the sport, playing for the Halton Thrashers Field Hockey Club for the past five years. Imke has proudly represented Ontario on both the U16 and U18 provincial teams, achieving great success at the national level.
Her school team also found success, winning the OFSAA title in 2023. In 2024, Imke was selected to join the NextGEN program and earned a spot on the U18 Indoor Women’s National Team. She is now preparing to represent Canada on the U18 Outdoor National Team in France later this year. Imke’s determination and commitment to her craft continue to drive her toward new heights in field hockey, with aspirations of further success on the international stage.
