Janie Yuen

Who am I?

Janie grew up in North Vancouver, BC, and started playing field hockey at a young age with SeaTOSky FHC. She began learning the field as a forward and midfielder, but recent role changes into defence has given her a real appreciation of the whole field and team play. Highlights during her first year of high school included playing for Carson Graham Senior field hockey team with her older sister Elliotte, making the BC Yellow team and being chosen as one of Tournament 11 at Canadian Nationals. This is her first year in the NextGen program and has been selected for the U16 Poland tour team.
