Lisa is motivated, competitive, energetic, loves to help/coach others when playing, and loves all sports. Although she has played many other sports like soccer, tennis, karate and skiing, field hockey has always has been her main focus. She started playing in The Netherlands at the age of 6 and moved to Denmark at the age of 11. In Denmark, she went to an international school and learned fluent English. Unfortunately, field hockey is barely a sport in Denmark. That is why she decided to switch to soccer for 2 years to still be able to play a competitive sport. When Lisa moved to Canada at the age of 15, she was happy to be able to play field hockey again. Lisa played for Team Ontario and is grateful that she now gets the opportunity to represent Canada. Her goal is to get a D1 scholarship at a university in the USA by 2025.
