Meghan Lovell began playing field hockey at the age of 6, initially as a sport that complemented her ski season. Since then, her passion for the game has flourished. She is currently training as part of Field Hockey Canada’s NextGen National program and has recently earned a spot on the Canadian U18 Women’s Youth National Team.
Meghan plays both Senior Varsity High School field hockey and at the Premier level with her club, Sea to Sky Field Hockey. A versatile player, she primarily excels in the MID/D position but is capable of thriving in various roles on the field. Known for her strong, reliable performance, Meghan is also committed to giving back to the field hockey community through coaching and umpiring.
Her future goal is to play varsity field hockey and represent Team Canada, all while pursuing a career in sports medicine. Meghan’s accolades include multiple championships, all-star selections, and leadership roles, such as captain of the 2024 Sutherland Secondary Senior Varsity Team and co-captain of several teams.
