Monet Thurbide

Monet began her field hockey career, at the age of four, with the Victoria Junior Field Hockey Association. Her field hockey skills were further developed through the UVIC Rising Stars Field Hockey Program. Monet later went on to help Oak Bay High School win a AAA BC High School Provincial Championship in 2021. Additionally, she represented Team BC at the 2022 and 2023 Canadian National Championships, in which her team won gold both years. Monet displays great leadership, work ethic, speed, and intensity during training sessions and competitions. In the future, she hopes to compete on a varsity field hockey team while attending university. Monet would love to represent Canada at future International Championships and the Olympics.
