North Vancouver’s, Nora Goddard-Despot plays for Canada’s Women’s National Team. She played hockey at Monmouth University and Providence College in the NCAA, earning multiple All-Big East and All-Northeast Region honours. Academically, she was on the NFHCA D1 National Academic Squad and Dean’s List. When she was at high school at Handsworth Secondary, she also played for West Vancouver Field Hockey Club. Nora made her senior international debut in 2024 at the 2024 FIH Nations Cup in Spain.
Nora won gold at the 2021 Junior PanAm Games and competed in the 2022 Junior World Cup. She has two younger sisters, Arden and Stella, who have also represented Canada at various international tournaments.
