Sara Goodman made her first national team appearance in 2019 and then followed it up with her first major hockey tournament at the 2022 Pan American Cup in Chile.
From Duncan BC, Sara began playing field hockey at the age of 6 because her older sister, Kelsey was playing, and her mother encouraged her to do so as well. She played her club hockey for Cowichan Field Hockey Club.
Sara was a member of the team that represented Canada at the 2016 Jr. Pan American Championships in Trinidad and Tobago at which Canada finished 4th.
