Sharry, as he is known to his teammates, was a member of the Jr. World Cup Qualifying team that won silver at the 2016 Jr. Pan American Championships in Toronto. He has been a member of the Men’s Junior Development Squad since the summer of 2014.
Shahbaaz was born in India and took to field hockey at the age of 12. Formerly a member of the Panthers FHC, he is now a member of the Surrey based India Club Field Hockey.
Currently Shahbaaz resides in Surrey where he graduated from Sullivan Heights Secondary.
