Zachary Coombs

Zach Coombs is from Chelsea, Quebec, where he first learned to play Field Hockey at Chelsea Phoenix Hockey, and quickly took to the goalkeeper position. He was identified to the Field Hockey Canada NextGen program and was selected to play on the Junior National Team at the 2021 Junior Pan American Championship and the subsequent Junior World Cup. He made his Men’s National Team debut in a test series in Belgium in 2021, then followed it up with an appearance at the 2022 Pan American Cup and the 2022 Nations Cup. Zach also played club hockey in Vancouver for the UBC Thunderbirds.
