With over 35 years of experience in field hockey, Gurinder Hundal has a deep passion for the sport and has been involved in various capacities throughout his career. After moving to Canada from India, he has been an active member of the Vancouver Men’s Field Hockey League since 2009, competing in numerous tournaments across the country. Beyond his playing career, Gurinder is dedicated to developing future talent. He has volunteered as a coach for junior boys’ and girls’ teams and is currently serving as the assistant coach for a senior women’s team in the Vancouver Women’s League. He currently works as an Electrical Specialist Engineer at BC Hydro. This professional expertise, combined with his experience in field hockey, provides him with a unique perspective and skill set to contribute to the strategic growth and success of Field Hockey Canada.
