Recently retired from the Women’s National Field Hockey Team, Shanlee Johnston, is the female athlete director on the Field Hockey Canada Board. She debuted for the national team in 2012 and earned 138 international caps. Johnston has competed in major tournaments, including the Pan American Games, where she won bronze in 2015 and silver in 2019. She was also a member of the World Cup team in 2022, the Women's National Team’s first time back to the World Cup in 28 years. Shanlee is a UBC grad and is currently an assistant professional at Point Grey Golf Club in Vancouver, where she is a strength and conditioning trainer and coach. Shanlee sits on the Field Hockey Canada Athlete Council. | |
