2015 was an historic year for the Canadian men’s field hockey team. Not only did Canada’s men earn 2016 Olympic qualification, but they did so by upsetting top nations. They also took part in the Pan American Games on home soil, winning a silver medal, an experience they will not soon forget.

Taking a look back at the year that was for the Canadian men’s field hockey team, part one of the four-part video series begins with the all important World League Round 2 match against Russia, where Canada won convincingly to advance to World League Round 3 for a chance to play for 2016 Olympic qualification.
