Registration Open for Masters Indoor Selection ID and Training Camps
The Canadian Masters Committee is inviting all interested players to complete the registration package for the Selection ID and Training camp(s) for the 2025 Indoor Masters Program. Registration deadline is midnight, Wednesday, January 29th
This is a wonderful opportunity to play competitive Indoor hockey and we encourage all players who are keen to develop their skills to register.
To be considered for selection, players must:
- be aged 40 and over as of 31 Dec 2025 for Indoor Women’s program;
- be aged 45 and over as of 31 Dec 2025 for Indoor Men’s program;
- be a registered member of Field Hockey Canada in good standing and with a provincial association;
- be registered in the Field Hockey Canada Registration and Event Database (F-RED);
- not be under suspension or sanction by Field Hockey Canada or Sport Canada for any doping or doping related offence;
- hold or be eligible to hold a Canadian Passport or have been a permanent resident of Canada for twelve (12) months;
- commit to sign any applicable Athlete Agreement as required by Field Hockey Canada; and
- be eligible under current regulations and have not played for another country’s International Masters team in a WMH/FIH competition in the previous twelve (12) months.
Player Selection Process:

Assessment Events & Dates:
MEN’S Indoor Masters – cost will be $50 to be assessed.
Options:
- In-person assessment in Ontario, Feb 28-Mar 2, 2025 – Location & times TBC
- If you are unable to attend the in-person training assessment (preferred), you can submit a video of a recent game footage
WOMEN’S Indoor Masters – cost will be $50 to be assessed
Options (1 or multiple):
- BC Senior Women’s Indoor Tournament, Duncan, BC – Jan 31-Feb 2, 2025
- Canadian Indoor Classic, Waterloo, ON – Feb 14-16, 2025
- Calgary Dinos Tournament, Calgary, AB – Feb 28-Mar 2, 2025
- If you are unable to attend an in-person assessment (preferred), you can submit a video of a recent game footage
Program Costs:
The Masters teams are self-funded. If selected to play in the Indoor program, the individual and shared costs for domestic and internation events will include: airfare/travel, accommodation, tournament entry fees, facilities rental, uniforms, coaching honorarium/costs, food.
