Canada vs. Chile
Canada took to the field for the 6th and final match of the 4 Nation Classic vs. Chile.
Canada enjoyed another great start to the match. Scott TUPPER slotted a spectacular penalty corner to put Canada up one in the 4thminute.
Canadian keeper, Antoni KINDLER, was sharp in making saves to keep Canada up by one.
KINDLER could not hold off an aggressive Chilean attack as Chile was rewarded for their persistence with a goal in the 12th minute to tie the match.
Gabbar SINGH put Canada up by one in the 15th minute via a tomma-hawk that went top corner.
Chile tied the match up 6 minutes later from another field goal.
Mark PEARSON scored in the 35th minute to give Canada 32 half time lead.
Canada took control of the match in the second half. Theyswitched the ball with ease and managed to put the Chileans under muchpressure.
Canada was rewarded from their dominance with two second half goals: David JAMESON in the 59th minute and Mark Pearson in the 68th minute (2nd goal of the match).
Final score Canada 5 Chile 2.
