Canadians fall to Aussies on Day 2 of Indoor Series

The Canadian men’s and women’s indoor national squads fell to Australia Tuesday evening in their second exhibition matches of the Series held at Ryerson University.

The men’s game saw Satnam Singh and Jonathan Roberts net goals for the Canucks.  However the Aussies proved too strong cruising to a 7-2 victory.

The Canadian Women’s Team lost their match 5-2.  Amanda Woodcroft and Jessica Buttinger scored Canada’s goals.

The men’s and women’s teams will face each other again at Ryerson on Wednesday and Thursday evening.  Official test matches will take place at the University of Toronto with the men’s and women’s teams each playing two games on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission to all Ryerson games is free while test matches at U of T will be $5 for the entire day.
