FHC seeking Team Manager for Men’s U17 Program

Field Hockey Canada is looking to fill the role of Team Manager for the Men’s National U17 Squad.  The individual should be passionate about sport and field hockey, and have a strong appreciation and understanding of the requirements for a high performance environment – both domestically and internationally. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as the primary management link for all U17 Men’s program and event requirements.
  • Working closely with the U17 Men’s Head Coach in the preparation and dissemination of domestic and international, training and competition schedules and requirements.
  • Working with the Men’s Senior and Junior National Team domestic managers on program alignment, event participation and providing key program information for the athletes.
  • Manage the U17 Men’s Team during the organization and conduct of U17 training camps and domestic/ international competitions.

Skills required:

  • Superior organizational skills and ability to work cooperatively with high performance athletes, staff, coaches, technical, sport psychology and other sport specialists.
  • Comfort and familiarity with basic computer programs for information dissemination and program/event management.
  • Recent international program/event competition team management experience.
