As Canada’s Men’s National Team’s prepares to head to Kuantan, Malaysia to battle for world ranking points in the Champion Challenge 1 from April 26 to May 4, friends and family have an opportunity to experience the tour in a unique way.
Support from friends, family and fans is essential for any national team to have success and with more than half of the costs for this tour being self-funded by the players, fundraising plays an important role. So the team has decided to give fans the chance for unique experiences throughout the tournament, by bringing the passion of each game closer than it ever has been.
In addition to daily blogs posted to the team’s Facebook page, which, during the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, were a welcome window into life on tour, the team is offering the chance for friends, family and fans to feel the emotional roller coaster of each seventy-minute game.
For each Champions Challenge game, the team will be selling a series of items and experiences to help bring fans closer to the action:
If you want to get involved go to the Men’s National Team Facebook page and let us know which of the exciting offers above you would like to redeem. All contributions will then be collected via the MNT CHIMP page at: http://chim.pn/1aSiHfG.
A message from the Men’s National Team:
“We love engaging our fans – you truly are the “19th man” to us and we take great pride in representing you all every time we wear the Maple Leaf.”
