Team Canada Men will be in Europe August 2 – 19 to gain valuable competition against top-level international teams in preparation for the upcoming Pan American Games in October. Canada (ranked 10th in the world by FIH) will face the Netherlands (3rd), Spain (5th), Belgium (13th) and Russia (22nd).
“I’m very excited to face the quality of competition we are going to see in Europe," says Robin D’Abreo, Head Coach of the Men’s National Team. "The matches will serve to expose our tactical weaknesses and accelerate our learning as a team. It is exactly the type of competition we need as we near the final stages of our Pan Am preparation.”
