Men’s Indoor National Team In Moscow Nights Indoor Hockey Tournament

The Men’s Indoor National Team is currently in Moscow, Russia to compete in the Moscow Nights Indoor Hockey Tournament.  The Canadian Team is being hosted by the Russian Hockey Federation who organized the event as a prelude to the Indoor World Cup to be held in Poznan, Poland on February 8th – 13th, 2011.  Canada qualified for the Indoor World Cup by winning the Pan American Indoor Qualifier in Barquisimeto, Venezuela on August 9th to 15th, 2010.  The Canadian Team went undefeated in the tournament and capped off the event by beating the USA in the final match 6 – 3.  Be sure to check out the See Me In Poland Campaign on the Field Hockey Canada website to see the individual indoor athletes profiles and to learn more on how to help the Indoor Team prepare for the Indoor World Cup In Poznan.
