USA-Canada Challenge
Field Hockey Canada is pleased to announce the 27 players named to compete for the Women’s Junior National Team at the 2012 USA-Canada Challenge and upcoming U21 training camp. The competition and camp will run March 30th – April 8th at Rutledge Field in Vancouver, BC. The Junior National Team and U17 Women’s Team will each compete in four matches against the USA’s Junior National Teams.
“This is a great opportunity for our staff to analyze our depth and continue developing our system of play,” says Head Coach Peter Milkovich. “The bonus of having a great training partner like the USA will ensure that we can maximize our game strategies and education in a very competitive environment. We are looking forward to competing at home and introducing more elements of the culture needed to build an internationally competitive program.”
