“The FHC Under 16 and Under 18 National Championships are critical selection and identification events within the WNT Pathway”, said Ian Rutledge, Women’s National Team Head Coach. “The Nationals will provide the National Coaching staff the perfect opportunity to both identify new talent as well as track the progress of those athletes that have been previously identified. With the 2016 Junior World Cup just around the corner, these two events will provide aspiring athletes the perfect opportunity to demonstrate push their cases for selection within the WNT Junior Development Squads. The 2020 Olympics are well within the reach of this particular age groups”.
