Applications being accepted for Women’s Goalkeeper Development Camp in May

Canada’s Women’s National Program will be hosting a Goalkeeper Development Camp in Vancouver from May 1-3, 2017.

The objective of the camp is to provide goalkeepers with an opportunity for National level coaching and technical and tactical skills development. The camp also serves as a recruitment tool for Canada’s Women’s National Team.

Athletes will receive individual feedback after assessment throughout the three-day camp.

Details of the camp are as follows:

• Date: May 1-3, 2017
• Location: University of British Columbia (Vancouver)
• Cost: $500 (Covers Facility, Equipment, and Coaching)
• Application: Send in a resume and video footage of game play/training (if available) to wnt-hpadmin@fieldhockey.ca with subject “GK Camp”
• Deadline: Applications must be received by no later than March 24, 2017
• Travel and Accommodation: All athletes are responsible for accommodation/flights and transport whilst in Vancouver
